Allied Appliances LLC was started in 2007 when Roger Thayer and James Olgivy purchased Allied Appliance INC from the Mohler family. Since then we have been able to keep the same family tradition of quality and reliable service. We are still a family owned and operated business that prides ourselves on customer satisfaction and treating people how we would treat our own families. While that has stayed the same, some things have changed. On September 1st, 2022, Premier Energy purchased the propane division (Ready Gas). Premier is still operating out of the Thayer and Sons building with the same phone number and same employees. Customers may also contact the corporate office in Seymour, IN for propane needs. After Premier purchased Ready Gas, Allied Appliances changed the name to Thayer and Sons Outdoor Power, LLC. There are two locations for Thayer and Sons. One is still located in Wanamaker, IN (Indianapolis) and the newest store is located in Columbus, IN.

Thayer and Sons is an outdoor power equipment store located in Wanamaker on the southeast side of Indianapolis. We carry Toro zero turn mowers, Stihl hand held tools, Honda power equipment along with the best grills on the market; The Big Green Egg, Weber (propane, natural gas, charcoal and pellet), and Broilmaster Grills. Along with the sales we do service and sell parts for these brands.

In December of 2016 we had the opportunity to purchase Eudy Sales and Service located in Columbus, Indiana. We have now moved that location to a brand new facility off of US Highway 31 in Columbus. There we carry much of the same equipment along with Exmark zero turn mowers. Between both stores we feel we have the best quality brands to assist you with anything your property needs. While having both shops with Gold level mechanics, we can help get your equipment back in your hands as fast and affordable as possible. Our number one goal for bothlocations is to provided unmatched service and being a familiar face you can count on.
